Hepcinat User Reviews, Comments & Ratings

Hepcinat is a prescription medication that is usually combined with other antiviral drugs over a course of treatment to cure chronic hepatitis C.

Hepcinat was suggested to me for the treatment of my genotype 3a hepatitis C, and while the first fifty days or so were excellent, I have now begun to experience bad constipation in addition to headaches. However, as the medication does what I need it to, I will continue to use it.

I take generic Sovaldi with Olysio, one pill of each medication every day. It wiped my viral load completely out in just 1 month, and I have had almost no side effects.

I was diagnosed with hepatitis C, type 3A. I took a 24-week course of a generic version of Sovaldi and Ribavirin, and I’m thankful that I was able to receive treatment. The side effects were very mild if I experienced any at all. After just 4 weeks, doctors could not detect the virus in my blood. It’s been nearly two years since I finished my treatment, and a recent blood test showed that I’m still Hepatitis-free! It was well worth it, and I absolutely recommend it to anyone suffering from hepatitis C.

The generic version of Sovaldi turned about to be the right treatment for my hepatitis C. I’m Genotype 3a and using this medication in combination with Sovaldi now only produced few side effects, it also had the best impact on my health in a short space of time.

I took a combination of Hepcinat with Ribavirin for three months, and it worked really well for me. I had no side effects, besides some drowsiness… and getting over that was mostly a mental process. I took the pills according to my doctor’s orders. My hepatitis C was undetectable after only a month of the medication, and my blood tests are staying that way to this day.

Hepcinat has been the ideal solution for me when paired with additional medications. For the first 12 weeks, I experienced fatigue-like symptoms, but when I added Vitamin B-Complex and Biotin to my existing regime of Sovaldi and Ribavirin, I saw an improvement tenfold.

Prior to taking generic Sovaldi, I struggled with my hepatitis C diagnosis for over 25 years. My genotype is 2a and 2c, and before I began taking a combination of Sovaldi and Daklinza, I had a VL of 28 million. Within four weeks on my new regime, my viral load dropped down to undetected – a fantastic result. I’ve experienced few side effects, other than some mild headaches, and the medication even helps me to sleep better.

My first treatment with a different medication for hepatitis C nearly killed me with massive weight loss and other side effects. I had to undergo a blood transfusion before I went off the medication. Two years later, I went on Hepcinat. I have no measurable side effects, and I haven’t been positive for the virus in 4 years.

I contracted Hep C in 1985 from a blood transfusion. At first, I thought I just had a long bout of the flu. I was tired and nauseous all the time. 25 years later, the chronic phase kicked in. I developed rashes, couldn’t eat, and felt like I was twice my age! It turned out that I was Genotype 1 with a stage 3 liver, and my viral load was off the charts. I took a 12-week course of Sovaldi, Ribavirin, and Interferon. The shots made me feel ill, and I got an infection in my leg. But it’s over now, and I feel like I have a new life!

The combination of a generic version of Sovaldi with Ribavirin ruined my health. I experienced every side effect on the label and some which weren’t even listed. I haven’t taken the medication for more than a year, but the side effects won’t go away. Do your research and make sure you know your options before you go down this route.

After only 30 days on a generic version of Sofosbuvir, the hepatitis C is not showing up at all in my bloodstream. I would recommend this medication to anyone who has hepatitis C, without hesitation.

My father started taking Hepcinat two months ago. His viral blood count is lower, but the side effects have been terrible. He feels worse than he did before the treatment. He has problems speaking, and he’s lost interest in everything—we’re worried about cognitive difficulties. He got an MRI and they found a tumor, which might be linked to the medicine. Since my father had a transplant, some treatments for cancer aren’t available for him. We’re trying to figure this out, but cancer on top of hepatitis is a lot to deal with.

My hepatitis C Genotype 2 diagnosis felt like a life sentence at the time, especially when other medications just made me feel worse. But Sovaldi has done what different regimens could not, and in combination with Ribavirin, my doctor is incredibly happy with the results. I still have time left to take the medication, but I’m feeling positive about the outcome overall.

I’ve only been taking Hepcinat – the generic version of Sovaldi (along with Ribavirin) for three days, so the only thing I have to report is my side effects. So far, I’ve experienced acid reflux, diarrhea, shortness of breath, and a truly intense itching feeling around my mouth and lips. I can deal with everything but the itching, which makes it difficult to eat or drink. I hate the itchiness, but I’m hopeful that this combination will finally end my 43-year struggle with hepatitis C.

I had my first son in 1982. I was 21 years old, and I needed a blood transfusion due to complications from the birth. In 2013, I went for a colonoscopy. I had been feeling tired and generally sick for no particular reason, and it got so bad I felt like I was dying sometimes — I’d been taking another medication with a lot of side effects since 2002, and the side effects and warnings had me worried about cancer. I’d had a liver panel every three months since I started the other medication, but my liver panels kept coming back normal. Eventually, I found out that I had been infected with hepatitis C from that blood transfusion back in ‘82. I started a generic version of Sovaldi and Olysio, and I was clear in 27 days.

I am a 70-year-old man. Before I contracted hepatitis C, I ran my own business. I would hop out of bed at 5 in the morning and keep going until almost midnight. Now I have cirrhosis of the liver, and I’m going into Stage 4 of hepatitis C, which my doctors tell me is the final stage. I have only been taking a generic Sovaldi for two weeks, and I’m supposed to take it for 8 months. I feel weak and tired all the time, and all I can do is sleep. Still, the side effects are tolerable so far. The worst part is the cost of my medication.

I’ve been taking Hepcinat and Ribavirin for 4 weeks, and my viral load is 0. Undetectable! I’m hoping that my 8-week test will reveal the same result—maybe I’ll only have to be on this medication for 12 weeks. Fortunately, I don’t have any side effects at all. In fact, I feel better than ever.

After another treatment failed 3 years ago, a combination of Sovaldi and Interferon made me virus-free! It was a 3-month treatment, and my insurance paid for everything. I wish this medication was available to everyone, no matter what their insurance.

I have four days of Sovaldi left in my six-month treatment. This is my first treatment, and they couldn’t detect the viral load at four weeks, which is an encouraging sign. However, I won’t really know if I’m cured until three months after the treatment. I’m Genotype 3A, and the side effects have mostly been mental and emotional. I can’t sleep, and my mood swings come and go. At least the virus is gone right now.

Hi, I have had hepatitis C for at least 25 years, with a Genotype of 2A and 2C. I was not able to take the old treatment. Currently, I’m taking a combination of Hepcinat and Daklinza. Before I started this regimen, my viral load was 28 million. After just 4 weeks of therapy, my viral load is undetectable. I just finished my 6th week today. I’ve had a few mild side effects, like itchiness and some mild headaches, but nothing that couldn’t be solved with an allergy med or some Tylenol. I feel so much better now! My brain fog is gone, and I sleep like a baby.

Hepcinat Reviews Summary

Hepcinat received an overall rating of 8.9 out of 10 stars from our users’ reviews. Check out below what they have said in general about generic Sofosbuvir, including the effectiveness, side effects convenience and ease of use.

I caught hepatitis C from a blood transfusion in 1981, but it wasn’t discovered until 1995. I had a liver transplant in 2001, but I still had hepatitis C even after the surgery. I enrolled in a Gilead program that was for hepatitis C patients who’d had transplants, and I received Hepcinat. I was cured 8 months into the program, with no side effects worth mentioning.

I’ve been taking a combination of Hepcinat and Ribavirin for twelve weeks, and I don’t have any trace of hepatitis C left. My viral load tests came back absolutely negative. The only side effects I experienced were slight headaches.

I asked my doctor about Hepcinat after reading about the treatment on some online forums. After the third week of treatment, I started having some pretty bad side effects. I’ve felt weak and tired, had muscle pains in my back and sides, and I can barely keep any food down. The side effects are better than the last treatment I was on, though. I do have a clear test with just one more month to go.

I took Hepcinat to cure my hepatitis C. Sure, the drug works. It was expensive; my insurance covered it. But it’s been over a year since my treatment, and I’m still feeling the side effects. I have no appetite. I’m down to 98 lbs. The drug killed the virus, but I’m wondering if it will kill me next.

It’s been 5 weeks since I started my treatment of Interferon, Sofosbuvir (Hepcinat), and Ribavirin. According to my doctor, my viral load is finally zero! I have 7 weeks left in my treatment, but I’m very happy with the results. I do have some fatigue, but it’s worth it for my health!

I recently finished a course consisting of a combination of a generic version of Sovaldi and Ribavirin, taken for 24 weeks. This was my second course of treatment, after a 24-week course of another drug combination 2 years ago that obviously failed to cure my Hepatitis. This treatment failed as well. I’m beginning another round of a generic version of Sovaldi, combined with a different drug. I hope it will work this time.

I’d been talking to doctors for decades, telling them how I was too tired and that there was something wrong. Finally, one told me to just talk to a psychiatrist. The psychiatrist told me that I was tired because I was depressed, and ordered some liver function tests for a medication that would help my depression. The doctor who performed the test contacted me and told me that I had hepatitis C, which was probably what was causing my fatigue. At last, I knew what was wrong with my body! Now I could fix it. I started taking Hepcinat and Ribavirin for hepatitis C in early 2014. I was told that I was lucky to be a Genotype 2, as I would respond well to treatment. For three months, it was as simple as taking an aspirin—no problems at all.
